• Introduction to Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy (BCST)

February 23-25, 2023

This 3-day introductory workshop gives you the opportunity to explore the basic skills and principles of Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy (BCST).  Bodyworkers, psychotherapists, other healthcare workers and the general public alike are invited to experience BCST’s abiding principle of Inherent Health, and to learn how to cultivate that Health in your clients and in yourself. For those interested in taking the full BCST Foundation training, this workshop is an excellent opportunity to check out our learning environment and learning style, to see if we are a good fit for your learning needs.

The Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy foundation training is based on the “Breath of Life” perspective of craniosacral therapy by the founder of the work, Dr. William Garner Sutherland, and the continuation of the work by Franklyn Sills (author of Craniosacral Biodynamics). You’ll learn to experience the ever-present health within yourself and others in this revolutionary approach to healthcare.

• Biodynamic Skills for Psychotherapists (Starts April 20-22, 2023)

The Biodynamic approach to Craniosacral Therapy (BCST) is a deep exploration of the human condition. This training blends the BCST approach with Polarity Therapy, prenatal/birth therapy, trauma therapy and other therapies to bring new skills and understanding into your clinical practice.

Working with babies and their parents is a service and a mission that is dear to our hearts here at the STAR Institute.  We agree with the wisdom of the adage, “however we treat at the child, the child will treat the world.” So when babies are seen as fully conscious beings, and are loved, protected, nurtured and treated with respect, they generally grow up to be kind and compassionate beings who make valuable contributions to their families and communities. To help babies and their parents resolve distressful birth traumas and imprints, we practice and teach an eclectic skill set that is gentle and powerful.
